I bought a six-gallon Eclipse aquarium and some fish (zebra danios to be precise). Mine won’t sit still long enough to model for photographs, so this photo is by Anthony Nelson and is licensed through Creative Commons. |

can be so restful watching fish in an aquarium. a change from watching tv while knitting

Yeah! I love fish. I’m still sad that I had to give mine back to Pet Shop Boy before I left Amsterdam. Does it have a name?

Actually I have five of them. I used to have six but the first one died of a tumour (really) within the first two days of his/her arrival.
They all look pretty much alike. Consequently, the first five are collectively called “Bastards,” and the sixth one, when I discovered his/her little lifeless body, was called “Asshole”.
I wonder why I haven’t had any pets for 25+ years…

I think you should call them “Rage Against the Machine”.

I think they’d rather be called “Rage Against the Knob Who Feeds Us”.
