A quick update on the broken RSS issue. For some reason or another, the problem stemmed from a plugin (totally unrelated to RSS as well - not easy to find!) All should now be well. If you are experiencing problems still, then simply let us know.

Apologies for anyone out there that was irked by this bizarre problem.
