Guxt demo by Pixel (Cave Story creator)

Whilst I was on holiday it seems that Pixel, the creator of Cave Story (A classic and highly-rated weird pixel-art adventure/action platform that you MUST play!) has released a demo of his latest game - a shooter called Guxt.
You can download the demo from here. Control your ship with the arrow keys and fire with left control. It’s only 1Mb so give it a blast. Its retro-style graphics may put some off but we all know that gameplay is what counts.

I nearly posted about this one as well but thought I’d wait until the full version was released
If you look around you can find a replay of the game being completed. It’s pretty challenging if you ask me - I had a lot of problems getting anywhere on the first level, so gave up pretty quickly. I never was any good at shooters though
Actually one of us should do a review of Cave Story. I love that game!
yeah Cave Story rocks and it has a cool retro DOS feel except it’s better than many games from that era.
Cave story was fantastic.
