The pressure is really on Riiko!  Now that Night has been kissed by another woman, his program has been re-set and he thinks that Riiko’s his ex!  Gaku, encouraged that he even remembers her at all, urges her to quickly reclaim her figure lover.  Once she kisses him again, she mustn’t waste anytime before permanently “imprinting” him so that he’ll be hers forever.

Ok the series has taken a total turn for the ridiculous.  The first two volumes were cute - what girl doesn’t want the perfect boyfriend?  Night is sweet and charming, and exists only to make Riiko happy.  But now she’s learned that if she doesn’t have sex with him, some other chick can steal her perfect lover away!  Riiko, ever indecisive, can’t make up her mind between Night and her childhood friend, Soshi.  Soshi has made his intentions for Riiko crystal clear to Night, and now the two are locked in a struggle to win her heart.

Gaku is the epitome of a sleazy salesman in this volume.  He constantly badgers Riiko to have sex with Night (hiding in the closet at one point - ick!), and even kidnaps her and whisks her away to an isolated tropical paradise so she and Night can do their thing.  Too bad Night insisted on bringing Soshi along for the ride, so that Riiko could choose which she loves best.  Yeah, right, like that happened…

Back home, it looks as though Riiko is finally going to cave and do the imprint-thing with Night.  But, wait!  Who is that at the door?!  OMG!  It’s Riiko’s parents, coming home for a visit with their oft neglected daughter.  Of course her father throws a huge wrench in Riiko and Night’s plans for an intimate stay at a swanky hotel by grounding Riiko and forbidding her from having anything to do with Night!  Oh, whatever will they do??

Even though the story is currently on the skids, I really enjoy Yuu Watase’s art.  I love her character designs and her crisp, clean page layouts.  All of the guys are drool worthy, and the eye-candy makes up a bit for the waning plot.  Besides, after a long day at work, my brain needs a mindless piece of fluff like this every once in a while.
