A Shorter Wait For Ont. Bass Anglers

Posted on 28 May 2007

Largemouth BassI would think that most Ontario anglers would know that we are to follow last year’s fishing regulations. This is because the regulations are being re-written and all parties involved want to make sure they get things right. The new guidelines are expected to be out in January 2008. There are some small changes that the MNR would like us to follow and one of those guidelines impacts bass anglers.

The season for Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, in Ontario,
opens 1 week earlier this year. It opens on June 23, 2007 instead of the last Saturday in June.

Sweet!
