I missed the day game and I’m in the process of watching the re-play on FSN. I’m currently in the process of watching the seventh inning, the one inning that doomed the Twins in this game. The highlight was a Joe Crede grand slam that gave the White Sox their first lead of the game.

Nick Blackburn wasn’t quite as sharp as he was in his first start and the bullpen’s run of flawlessness ended with the rough seventh from Matt Guerrier and Pat Neshek

Offensively, the Twins still can’t get things going, and it might be a while before there’s much hope of consistency. AaronGleeman.com did a great job this morning of outlining the problems of the Twins’ lineup and the importance of Michael Cuddyer to it.

Joe Christensen notes that Kevin Slowey is still questionable for his weekend start after throwing a bit on Monday afternoon. Francisco Liriano seems to be the likely choice to replace him. He’ll get his second spring start on Tuesday night.

• Denard Span started in RF and got his first big-league hit in addition to a walk.
