Mario Kart ripoff or pure genius? Kart N’ Crazy
I’ve been enjoying Mario Kart Wii these last few days (review soon) and then today saw this, an exciting looking Mario Kart styled game for the pc.
Best part? It’s free!
The game, called Kart N’ Crazy, uses a nitros system as a currency. After each race you win nitros, and they can be spent unlocking new characters and tracks. However if you’re so inclined you can “top up” your nitros with cold hard cash - so even if you’re rubbish you can get access to all the best stuff.
As you can see from the trailer above, the game is very quick, and the course more complex, than those found in it’s very obvious inspiration. I’m certainly intrigued, and am seriously considering giving this one a go - however I have to finish Mario Kart on the Wii first!

Its actually less of a rip of Mario Kart and more of a rip of Konami’s Krazy Racers.
