Most of the time, I’m not a huge fan of the “a year ago…” posts… but when I do click through, I kind of wish I could comment! Would it be possible/reasonable to reopen comments for a while on posts you re-link to?
@T — We have a script that closes the comments after X number of days to reduce comment spam (comment spammers LOVE old posts b/c they know they’re not usually monitored). I will talk to our programmers and see if we can work up a system to automatically open the comments when we highlight them. Thanks for the suggestion!

Never tell a Hispanic family they din’t need a rice cooker. Every dinner we ever eat will prove you wrong. And, somehow, I’m not sick of rice. I guess it’s in my blood.
