Yesterday presidential hopeful, Senator Barack Obama grabbed the necessary delegate count to seize the Democratic nomination for president. This means Hillary Clinton is out of the presidential race, and the general election will be between my choice, Barack Obama and Arizona Senator, John McCain. Check out Obama's victory speech after the jump:
"I honor [John McCain's military] service, and I respect his many accomplishments, even if he chooses to deny mine." - Barack Obama
The video gets really good around the 12:15 marker.
Like I mentioned above, this means rival democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton is out of the race. But did she concede defeat yet? Of course not. This is the woman who has denied or ignored virtually every Obama victory since the beginning. But whether she accepts defeat or not, Clinton has been defeated, and no matter what she says or doesn't say will change that.
Moving on, my choice, Barack Obama will take on Republican senator John McCain. McCain is someone I don't want to see as president any time soon. Me, this country, and the rest of the world has had enough of the Bush Administration and their shitty policies and economics. I hate to say it, but I don't see a change that this country desperately needs if McCain becomes president. Below is a perfect example of what we've seen, and what we can expect with John McCain:
It's now up to Barack Obama to select a running mate or Vice President.

What we are...
http://hillaryis44.com/ , for instance. It's really kind of staggering.
The other problem we have now is all the crazy right-wing, conservative, republicans who are now focusing all their attacks on Obama. I have a few family members who are like this, and I constantly get stupid, fear-mongering emails about Obama.
Hmm... maybe I'll create another article about these emails rather than just deleting them.
Yes there are certainly those on the right of the Democratic Party who'd now consider voting Republican, but I think Obama has the image to get voter turn out up, especially among minorities, and that could only benefit the left of the Democratic Party.
I would look forward to seeing some of those crazy e-mails. ;-)
