And the winners are …

Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in the Internet Password Organizer giveaway. I never imagined that we would have 518 entries. Wow! I contacted Mark Barros at Innovention Lab to see if we would be interested in donating three more Internet Password Organizers to raise our prize number up to five since there were so many entries. He eagerly agreed, and so we were able to award FIVE prizes in the drawing.

At 2:00 EST this afternoon, I closed the comments and counted up the entries. Then, I headed over to the Random Integer Generator at random.org and entered in the data:

Out popped the following numbers:

54: Stephanie
129: Susan
170: Faith
395: Gail
501: Marilyn

I’ve contacted the winners and will be sending them their prizes this coming week. This contest was so much fun that we’ll definitely have to try something like it again. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone for participating!

That was fun from this end! I didn’t win but will look to buying my own. I hope everyone else buys one to support a generous donor. Thanks Erin!

congrats to all! I didn’t enter because I have an “instant gratification” issue. So I’d ordered mine the day the contest went live and it arrived this morning.

    It’s great!

Thanks for the contest and Congrats to the winners! I just ordered 2! Saved $8 using their coupon code and free shipping if you order 2 or more. Feels like I won after all.

RATS! I missed the giveaway! This is what I get for only checking every few days…

On the up side, I am ordering one for my dad. This is a present he can really use.

    Congratulations every winner.

I didn’t enter because I did not need another item to clutter up my office.

I am very happy that I was one of the winners! Currently, I have just been using one of those tiny spiral bound notebooks to keep up with my passwords (and my co-worker actually said how ratty it was looking a few days before I entered). I do have an internet password bank online but that does my family no good if something was to ever happen to me. So to me, it is not clutter because it is a way for me to make my info accessible not only for me but my family.

    Thanks again Unclutterer!

I’m not sure this was a good contest. A password organizer? One easy place for a identity thief can go and have access to all your accounts, emails, etc.? Unless it’s kept in a safe, I don’t see the merit in this.

You could write the passwords with a cipher, but then you have to remember the cipher.
