A couple weeks back, the boys got together to swap out our rear brake pads on the Jetta, golf, and my GTI. It was good times wrenchin’ on the ol’ Veedubs, cooking out and throwing back a few cold ones. (Well, not me at least… I don’t drink :P )
The brake pads we purchased are the Mintex Red Box found at Parts4VWs.com. The Pottermans, the couple who run Parts4VWs.com, rock faces! Keep up the great service.

Lol yeah, Actually four of us were there: Tim, Nik, Matt and myself. But we had to change out my GTI pads, Matt’s Golf and Matt’s wife’s Jetta. We all wore them out at about the same time! :D And man, good old SNL! Hahahah
We ended up going into the night on this one since there were three cars to do and we weren’t really in any hurry, so I only snagged shots of the Jetta.
@Dan: The pics are friggin’ awesome! Great stuff, lots of fun. Man, the tires on my wife’s Jetta where shredded.
@Justin: Landshark is actually Jimmy Buffet’s newest creation. It’s brewed in Jacksonville Florida, and it’s somewhere between a Corona and a Miller Chill - nice and refreshing, without the slightly bitter aftertaste. You’re actually supposed to drink it with a lemon. I’m betting you’ll be able to find it at the grocery soon. :)
