“Tonari no 801-chan” - Anime Officially Cancelled

After being announced nearly two weeks ago, Kyoto Animation’s next project 「Tonari no 801-chan」 has officially been cancelled — for reasons unknown at this time. Moonphase Diary reports that the news was formally announced on TBS’s official Anime Festa website. Once again, all plans for a 2009 anime production of Kojima Ajico’s four-panel internet manga series have been shelved.
