When I woke up this morning, I was expecting to hear a speech from a Mitt Romney or a Joe Lieberman… but I was caught off guard, to say the least, to hear McCain choose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate for 2008.

I would say 99% of the time, when politicians get up to speak, and I choose to listen, I tend to glaze over… but there was something there today in the speech given by Gov. Palin that instantly grabbed my attention and actually got to me. (in a good way)
