Maid Guy - Episode 10

It’s Maid Guy Episode 10, and Naeka has been given mountains of math homework, but is too stupid to do it, or even study for it. As a result, Maid Guy leads her to a special shrine where she can get her wish granted, but Naeka is going to have to work for it.

  • Naeka gets extra math homework because her grades are so bad, so she asks Eiko and Miwa to do it for her (a request they obviously refuse). Kogarashi also shows up, but he refuses to do it to. Naeka declares that she’ll therefore study, but Kogarashi declares that it is humanly impossible for her to do so. However, Kogarashi has one final last ditch plan for Naeka: pray to god at the special Dragon Sphere Shrine.
  • Once they arrive, they find it to be “the real thing.” Kogarashi describes the head priestess, whom he knows, as diabolical. She also refers to him as “Gai.”
  • The priestess then does a trick to find out everyone’s weaknesses, including Nakea being bad at math, and the fact that Fubuki disrobes when drunk.
  • Once inside the temple, which only women can enter, they find Liz and Naeka’s kendo arch-rival Arayashiki there as well. However, since god is very busy and can’t get to everyone’s wishes, the three girls have to have a contest to see who will have their wish granted. Today’s contest: doubles tennis.
  • However, god immediately punishes Naeka and Fubuki’s team a whole set because Fubuki won’t wear a miniskirt, but he’ll take it back if she wears one without bloomers, but Fubuki refuses. Also, points are scored based on how much god is amused.
  • Nakea and Fubuki win the 2nd set, but Liz and Arayashiki start cheating to win the 3rd set. They start losing the 3rd set when Maid Guy decides to lend a hand and tells Nakea with his Maid Guy Voice that Liz and Arayashiki aren’t her opponents. Naeka realizes that she has to satisfy god, so while Fubuki is going after a ball, Naeka catches Fubuki’s skirt and exposes her underwear to the world. God is so amused that he gives them enough points to put them at match point.
  • Arayashiki decides to can play that game and rips Liz’s clothes off, but they only get 200 points for it. Engraged, Arayashiki strips her own clothes off, causing god to become ill and declaring Naeka and Fubuki the winners.
  • As a reward, Naeka receives a math charm which has power “on par with Einstein.” However, for Naeka to use it, Fubuki has to execute “Fine Plays” and “Super Fine Plays…”

Wow, an episode that dealt with non-boob fan service. Of course, it was still relatively fan-service heavy. However, at least Naeka has found a way to do her math homework, though at Fubuki’s expense, of course.

This also seemed to be the first episode where Maid Guy basically had no imput, and Fubuki had most of the screentime, which I don’t particularly have a problem with.

Of course, given the shrine priestess and Maid Guy’s past relationship, I’d say that the chances of her coming up again are probably pretty high.
