   This really sounds like a dumb excuse to limit software sales by region like always. Not really sure whether I should get a US DSi or a Japanese one now.

   Region-locking things is just stupid… I mean there are so many things that never make it to the US it’s not even fair. >_>;

   I don’t really plan on buying a DSi anyway though…

   Two words: Modded console.

   In any case, this doesn’t affect me much, as I seem to have piles of DSs lying around anyway.

   The original Nintendo DS that I got at launch was so heavily used that it’s beyond playability. I got a DS Lite at at launch, and I was one of the few to get the one with the cracked hinge. I decided to keep it, as a conversation piece. I played that one to the point that the hinge is loose, so I got another one so I don’t have to worry about it falling apart while I play. Also, I get to trade between Pokemon Diamond and Pearl now.

   I’m a real DS connoisseur. It’s my favorite game system ever.

   hahaha, i just thought my DS had extended flexibility….. funny though i got my ds rather quite recently….. IC:usg-001, maybe it is a launch ds, funny though i only got it like a year and a half ago////
