Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Today is a good day. It's raining, but it's a good day. I'm thankful for LIFE, I'm thankful that I have a wonderful husband that I'm able to have breakfast with every morning, and I'm thankful that I have a pet (kid) that will give me a willing kiss any time I need it (or even when I don't). With so many things to be thankful for, it's hard to have a bad day.

I love a good idea, and having one at 6:30am means I've already had something good today! I got up early to get a jumpstart on my work for the day, and as I was glittering someone's 175 holiday cards, I decided how I could use your week-in-the-life project. (October is just too crazy for me to have played along.) Next year I am going to pick one week each season and put them all together into one album. (According to the plan, by October I will be motivated to follow through. I'm nothing if not goal oriented!) Wow, It is fo fun to see how everyone has put together their albums. I did all my gathering last week also, and hopefully will get to put my album together this weekend. What is good about today? My daughter woke me up this morning by crawling into bed and telling me that I was the greatest in the world. I made it to work early instead of late. Best thing about today? The sun is shining and the foliage is beautiful - we are near peak here in the upper Northeast. The blue skies are really contrasting with the yellow/orange leaves. aahhhhhhh!

Today I have no appointments, no errands, no places to be outside the necessary routine. It's raining (we need it), and I'm going to spend a large chunk of the day dry and indoors, in my craft room. Very, very good.

I'm self-employed and Wednesday is the day my husband works from home instead of travelling 2 hours each way to work in London, like he does the rest of the week. We get to spend the day together and take each other cups of coffee and gallop around the living room and stuff. (Doesn't everyone do that?) I love Wednesdays! :-)

Something good about today is that there is only three more days until we go away for Thanksgiving (I'm in Canada)!!!! I love watching these projects come together. something good about today...it's foggy and crisp outside ( a perfect morning!) ... and I received an email from my grandma this morning saying that grandpa is doing much better --really good news!
