The Only Way To End Poverty Is Murder

The Only Way To End Poverty Is Murder

This article is part of this years Blog Action Day.

“The mother of revolution and crime is poverty”
~Aristotle

Poverty is the lowest possible place that a person can go. Not because of what it looks like, nor the lack of comfort, but because it represents the inability of an individual to pull his own weight in life. If you don’t see the point in being a productive individual with a zest for life, then you’re missing why you’re here on this planet.

The best way to deal with poverty is to be productive. If every person on this planet was an ambitious, hard working, and driven type of person, they would find a way to succeed. Not everyone would have to be a leader in their field, but by bringing competency and proficiency to whatever they lay their hands on they would contribute to the overall wellness of the global economy.

I’m not talking about the type of productivity where people set up diamond mines in Africa and exploit the African locals as diamond mining slaves. I’m talking about the type of organizations that go in, build profitable, sustainable, and employee friendly businesses that are a win for the employers, a win for the employees, a win for the investors, a win for the country, and a win for the environment.

Business deals that involve swindle, shiest, and scams are not the productivity I’m talking about. I’m talking about people with brilliant minds who create truly useful products and services that bring value onto this planet. I’m talking about even trades where everyone profits.

The only way to end poverty is through the murder oflaziness.

The only way to end poverty is through the murder ofmoochers.

The only way to end poverty is through the murder oflooters.

The only way to end poverty is through the murder ofviolence.

The only way to end poverty is through the murder of … the thought that one may acquire that which he did not earn.

“Remember the poor - it costs nothing”
~Mark Twain

I can’t agree more with that! As it is, being productive is also the best way to deal with a lot of other stuff :D

Alex, I’m all about being productive. What about those folks how are living in situations of abject poverty where work productivity is higher up on the Maslow triangle, a place they can’t even get to?

@Lance, I’m not sure what your question is. Would you mind rephrasing?
