More re: Javascript game library
I finally got a chance to look at the javascriptgamelib recommended by guyal and I've decided that I don't quite like it. Some of the techniques are good, though, so I will definitely take some ideas from it, but I would definitely prefer to build an extension to jQuery that supports things like movement, sprites and collision detection. Unfortunately, I have a ton of other things to work on right now so I won't be able to get to that yet
