Things are about nearly back to normal. I have another two weeks until the semester starts, and my lit books have started coming in from Amazon, and I know I should probably start working my way through them.
However, being addicted to the internet isn’t helping me get anything done. I wasted this morning answering a questionaire from Daniel, and I’ve been catching up on the podcasts over at Open Switch. The latest one is funny as hell, which you wouldn’t expect for something titled “Ask a Minister.”

Matt over at Good Blimey! has posted some good songs, and his most recent post about words, hits home because I have the same problem. If I look at a word for too long, it suddenly seems like it’s misspelled at best, or no longer a word at worst.

Over at Uneasy Rhetoric, they’ve been talking about a new arena in Sacramento, and as a tax-paying citizen, I don’t care. I don’t like the Kings, and I don’t care if they stay or move to Las Vegas. I think the Maloofs should pay for the damn thing, since they’re making most of the money. But my opinion doesn’t matter, really, since I don’t care. So don’t listen to me.

And lastly, if you haven’t been to 9rules lately, check it out. The new Notes feature is brilliant, and everyone can join in the converstation.

As for me, I have to find somework to do. I left my glasses at home today (I knew there was a reason I usually don’t wear my sunglasses in the morning), and am fighting a headache. So, it’s shaping up to be a good day, I can tell.
